There are multiple job openings within our growing Project Management Office (PMO) at Girl Scouts of the USA. The PM Office at GSUSA is responsible for managing the portfolio of programs and projects to deliver successful business outcomes aligned to the enterprise strategic goals and objectives. The Program Managers will ensure that complex schedules, resources, and scopes are managed across multiple projects and performance goals are met for their respective program.  Join us on our exciting journey to make a significant difference for our parents, volunteers, councils, and most importantly, our girls.


The Senior Program Manager will lead the re-architecture of the enterprise CRM solution, which has run into performance constraints that prevent required scaling and expansion of capabilities.  This is a large, foundational project that is a critical first step in advance of a major enterprise digitization initiative.  The core platform is SFDC Sales Cloud, with a variety of additional applications integrated to provide functions such as e-commerce, volunteer management, activities and event management, etc.

You Will

  • Plan and manage a major, high-visibility technology project from requirements through delivery
  • Define and execute an effective, integrated solution that addresses all deficiencies identified in an IT-sponsored assessment, in conjunction with the VP – Enterprise Architecture
  • Validate and update baseline requirements from the original implementation to optimized, current requirements
  • Lead the evaluation, RFP and contracting process for architectural elements needing to be replaced or acquired
  • Introduce required supporting elements into the architecture, including real-time integration, master data management and single-sign-on
  • Effectively create achievable plans and manage the completion of all required tasks as required through individual completion of tasks, completion by others within the organization and/or external technology service providers
  • Effectively and regularly communicate relevant project information to executives
  • Plan, manage and deliver the entire integrated solution by Q1 2019

You Need

  • Broad understanding of and experience with current and emerging CRM-related technologies, including:
    • SFDC Sales Cloud
    • e-Commerce
    • Communities/collaboration
    • Real-time integration
    • Master data management
    • Single-sign-on
  • Ability to plan and orchestrate complex programs involving many internal and external resources, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and rationalize business requirements
  • Ability to assess technology options and align optimal solutions to the requirements
  • Expert knowledge of SDLC methods, both Waterfall and Agile
  • 10+ years experience leading major technology projects
  • Must be self-motivated and self-starter
  • Flexible and adaptable to work through obstacles and deliver the expected outcome
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead and motivate a performing team
