About Us


We are hiring for a Business Analyst to work in our Project Management Office in conjunction with our Product Managers, Go-to-Market Managers and Business Leaders in performing data analysis, computing KPIs, calculating ROI and general administrative work, as necessary. 


The Business Analyst will assist the Senior Program Managers in our Project Management Office with schedule planning, resource tracking, problem solving, and risk mitigation.

One of the first initiatives for the Business Analyst will be related to the cultivation of Girl Scouts Alumnae & Lifetime Members to organize a network of millions who effect change for girls to be successful in the world. This includes 59 million former Girl Scout members as well as millions more who care passionately about our mission.



You Will

Business Functions:

  • Participate in team meetings, providing team with discussion recaps and following-up on open items as needed
  • Financial modeling and data analysis for all aspects of initiative
  • Support Product Managers with gathering requirements and documentation
  • Support Program Managers with schedule planning, resource tracking, as necessary
  • Lead and assist with documentation of business processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with monitoring project backlog and planning for future phases
  • Provide transitional support between product/project phases to both the PMO and Finance

Technical Functions:

  • Write-up user stories for product features
  • Create functional specifications (groom user stories)
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of business UAT test scripts
  • Support product feature testing preparation and executionUnderstand the framework, components, and development stack of the client online portals and applications
  • Develop the knowledge and expertise to perform impact analysis of app development and implementation on GSUSA technology infrastructure
  • Assist in the development/enhancement of reporting and analytics

You Need


  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Business Analyst Profession certification is preferred
  • Experienced with Agile Methodology and working on a Scrum team
  • 7 – 10 years Business Analyst experience
  • 5+ years’ experience creating and/or grooming user stories
  • 5+ years’ experience writing and executing test cases
  • High proficiency with MS Office apps, including Visio, OneNote, and Project
  • Excellent understanding and quick learner of technology, including social media, digital marketing and advertisement
  • Lean experience or six sigma green belt certification is a plus!

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other GSUSA team members, e.g., Product Managers, Program Managers, and Go-to-Market Managers
  • Able to tolerate ambiguity while implementing change
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with limited oversight
  • Ability to work cross functionally among many different levels of staff and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
