About Us

We are seeking to hire an Enterprise Senior Program Manager (SPM) to be a vital link among high priority enterprise-level initiatives across the organization. The Enterprise Senior Program Manager reports to the Vice President, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).


The Enterprise SPM will ensure that complex schedules, resources, and scopes are managed across multiple projects and performance goals are met. This position provides consistent interface, communication and coordination with internal cross-functional stakeholders as well as critical enterprise integration.  Join us on our exciting journey to make a significant difference for our parents, volunteers, councils, and most importantly, our girls.

You Will

  • Partner with key business stakeholders to understand their objectives and develop project portfolios that help them meet and exceed those objectives.
  • Drive the full lifecycle planning and management of multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on-time and with the expected results. This includes:
    • Creating and gaining approval of a formal program charter at the start of the initiative.
    • Establishing program governance frameworks and processes, with regular review cadences.
    • Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Identifying resources needed, supporting leads in assigning individual responsibilities and tracking/ monitoring completion.
    • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of initiative project and scope.
    • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
    • Build and maintain a program roadmap that is integrated cross-functionally, across the other top priority initiatives, and across the enterprise.
  • Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation and escalation strategies for stakeholders and senior leadership in a timely manner.
  • Identify and manage cross-functionally all program dependencies.
  • Prepare and communicate program progress/status reports for senior and executive management review.
  • Provide any prep and pre-work support required for cross-functional project working sessions.
  • Manage all program-specific vendor product selections, contracts and ongoing performance and relationships.
  • Support initiative budget management through:
  • Tracking team expenses
  • Determining appropriate invoice coding and ensuring timely and accurate invoice submission
  • Following up with team members and Finance, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  • Leverage standardized GSUSA EPMO methodologies to ensure consistency.
  • At management’s discretion, incumbent may be assigned out to other priority initiatives.

You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/educational experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in program management, with regular status reporting to senior executive leadership teams
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects in the context of matrixed teams
  • Strong relationship building skills that will foster collaboration and the establishment of strong working relationships with business leaders, team members, partners, vendors and other departments involved in the program.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented approach with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders to effectively and efficiently prioritize to execute and deliver on a roadmap
  • Knowledge and experience with product management lifecycles
  • Knowledge and experience with SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
  • Familiarity with technology concepts, including databases, data processing, mapping, APIs, reporting, and business intelligence
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint team collaboration tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work is a must
