About Us

The (Marketing) Brand Marketing Manager - Fund Development is responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic marketing campaigns. This includes collaborating with Fund Development (FD) team leads to meet contract goals and cultivate long-term relationships that mutually elevate both brands. These campaigns will include short and long-term funded activations that leverage the strengths of both GSUSA and the partner, engage customers and constituents in our mission, support Girl Scout goals, and create long-lasting involvement with our brand. The position reports to the Senior Brand Manager, Fund Development & Strategic Partnerships.

You Will

  • Partner with FD team leads to co-create and implement marketing strategies, project plans, campaigns, and timelines for marketing driven activation that maximize revenue and ROI.
  • Drive the on-time and on-brand delivery of Marketing and Communications assets related to funded programs through clear project management and cross-functional communication.
  • Implement strategies that expand and elevate communication of GSUSA corporate partnerships, mission, and messaging in omni -channel environments.
  • Develop strong working relationships across the fund development, MarComm, and with the marketing representatives from sponsors and/or partners.
  • Effectively evaluate design and copy assets for events/programs to ensure they are consistently on-brand, relevant, and support audience engagement and fundraising goals.
  • Contribute to data gathering and analysis needed for creative strategy development and renewal.
  • Assist in the execution of brand related marketing research. Activities include analyzing post research reports and providing recommendations for next steps.

You Need

  • 4+ years’ experience in pitching, activating, and maximizing brand partner relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related area from an accredited university or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience in building marketing strategies and campaigns in partnership with sales or fundraising that support sponsors, funders, and/or partner relationships, anchored by a deep understanding of brands, data and analytics, and how platforms and tools can enhance the customer experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, especially adept at developing and pitching persuasive capabilities presentations and creative promotional concepts
  • Experience making persuasive presentations to internal stakeholders and internal and external senior leadership
  • Demonstrated strong contribution as a member of cross functional teams with the ability to develop long-lasting productive relationships with external partners
  • Excellent project-management and problem-solving skills with capability to move fluently between strategic and tactical work
  • Experience in youth space preferred
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Digital analytics experience a plus
  • Expertise in relationship building with top-notch interpersonal skills and client-facing experience

This is a full-time position.

Days and hours of work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
