The Girl Scout Merchandising team is looking to add a Senior Buyer to the team. The Buyer must have the ability to research and introduce new product categories into the assortment. The incumbent is responsible for the development, purchase, quality control and timely delivery of both Girl Scout branded products and name brand products that are sold via wholesale and retail channels. The Buyer locates potential vendors, obtains and negotiates competitive bids to maximize income, and works with the Merchandise Manager in the final selection process. This position will drive innovation while focusing on technology and lifestyle trends for girls and adults.
