    The Customer Office drives sustainable membership growth and Movement health by engaging our girls, volunteers, parents, councils, and supporters to fulfill the Girl Scout mission. The teams in this community are involved with network alignment and advancement of mission delivery strategies; driving the full lifecycle management of products, platforms and program, both digital and physical; council leadership support and training; cultivation of national partnerships that drive membership growth; and movement property strategy and support. The teams work closely with all other GSUSA communities to bring an exceptional experience to our members and to ensure a vibrant, sustainably growing movement.

    You Will

    As a member-serving organization, Girl Scouts relies on data to measure the impact of our customer experience, identify trends in our membership performance, find new markets for growth, and analyze the health of our councils. The Sr. Director, Council Membership Analytics will lead a team of analysts to unlock the insights of this data. As a key partner to all teams within the Customer Office, this position provides insights which drive critical business decisions, including the performance of key membership growth strategies, the health of cohorts of Girl Scout councils, and market segment research.

     

    The Sr. Director, Council Membership Analytics is responsible for key data products which support both the national office as well as Girl Scout councils, such as visual dashboards, workbooks to assist local analysts, and reporting templates in enterprise databases. This position supports all Girl Scout councils in our continued pursuit of evolving from data to knowledge to insights, creating learning opportunities for council analysts and sharing learned insights with council leadership teams.

     

    Importantly, this position is a key leader in the development and management of data in the enterprise CRM, understanding the downstream and upstream sources of data points. As such, the Sr. Director, Council Membership Analytics will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in technology builds and enhancements which generate data to the CRM.

    You Need

    • Ten (10) years prior experience in a senior-level management or staff position with responsibility over multidisciplinary functions.
    • The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive data-driven business decisions.
    • Perseverance in the face of challenges, and exhibition of a steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards, which commands respect from followers.
    • Drives a culture of innovation by challenging the status quo and pushing boundaries; fosters a supportive environment for risk taking.
    • Strong relationship building skills with demonstrated collaboration, organizational agility and the ability to manage through relationships and influence; ability to assemble cross-functional and “virtual” teams.
    • Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and storytelling, with the ability to communicate complex information with clarity to diverse audiences, from senior level business leaders to girls, volunteers and parents; communication skills via Webinars required.
    • Outstanding customer service mindset towards all managers, employees and customers and offers leadership to GSUSA in articulating the evolving definition of being “of service” to the customer.
    • It is absolutely essential to have a passion for the mission of the Girl Scouts and the Girls themselves. This is a group of people absolutely dedicated to helping Girls and ensuring that the organization meets its mission and delivers for another 100 years.
