This is a 2 days in office and hybrid position located in New York City.
The Finance and Procurement division is responsible for protecting the assets of GSUSA and the Movement. The division employs strong governance, sound financial principles and organization wide internal controls to ensure that the assets are safeguarded.
The team is divided into four distinct functions: Controllers, Treasury, Procurement and Financial Planning and Analysis. The team is responsible for fiscal reporting and requirements; management and growth of three distinct investment portfolios; ensuring the fulfillment of the sponsor and fiduciary responsibilities for the Girl Scouts of the USA pension plan, the National Council retirement plan that includes 98 council employers and the 401 K employee defined contribution plan; managing and forecasting cash flow and liquidity and maintaining external relationships with financial institutions; the development of the annual budget and forecast to support the strategic direction of the organization and its annual objectives.
The team provides reporting and analyses of the operating results to the Executive team that allow them to make clear and sound business decisions. The team provides analytical rigor and skills to the other communities to ensure that investments are justified, targeted metrics are met and variances are clearly delineated.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst, Procurement is a skilled resource who manages and executes the centralized purchasing operations and delivers world class procurement services for GSUSA. The analyst advises GSUSA communities on diverse vendor selection, costing, and other related information to ensure that the best quality, price, value and service is secured for purchases and that the purchases are made in the best interest of GSUSA. The analyst demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of Procurement operations with specific expertise in industry trends, value realization, cost optimization, material savings, competitive sourcing frameworks, governance and Procurement efficiencies.
The analyst confers with vendors, analyzes bids and quotes, drives and tracks procurement savings to goal, maintains awareness of market conditions that may affect price or merchandise availability, and ensures quality and cost-efficient standards are met. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of professional business Procurement and technology-oriented activities including supplier identification sourcing, evaluations, supplier performance tracking, data reporting, data capture, systems utilization, governance activities and professional knowledge for the Purchasing function.
The analyst will interface with the various GSUSA Communities and professionals within the Office of General Council (Legal) and Accounts Payable (AP) for consistency in process, supplier identification, purchase order (PO) issuance, tracking and reconciliation, and invoice documentation.

SALARY RANGE: $60,900 - $75,000
This represents the present low and high end of the pay range for this position. This pay range is only applicable to NYC Metro-based employees, on a hybrid schedule. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
